By focusing on a core group of consumers with a shared interest, you will be able to tailor your message and products that you offer to them to their specific wants and needs.

Choose a business model: product selection or creation

Then you have to decide what you are going to sell or promote. Open your own online shop, you have options, create your own information products or using other people's products to promote to affiliate marketing.

If you choose to create your own products, focus on the needs of your target audience and what problems they might have pressing. If your niche is puppy training for small breeds, perhaps a break-ins or special report on how to stop your puppy from chewing would be a great contest for their interests.

And don't think that just because you feel that you're not a good writer that you do not create information products. Many successful marketers outsource their product creation to professional freelance writers, then package of the material and it market as their own.
